In commemoration of 250 Years of Independence, the All Veterans Memorial and Mt. Olive Township have launched our “On Behalf of a Grateful Nation” campaign by honoring our nation’s brave service
men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces; leading with our Commemorative Warrior Walkway initiative.

The ‘Warrior Walkway’ begins at the far corner of Parking Lot A, (behind the War Horse/War Dog memorials) where our nation’s wars and service members will appear in chronological order. As seen in the diagram above, the 3’ x 5’ panels will feature actual war scenes and (13) 12” x 12” aluminum photo plates. Each plate will have a protective coating to safeguard photos from severe weather and graffiti. Though photos taken in the field is preferred, official military photos are also welcomed. We recommend high resolution photos for best results. A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany each photo plate; plates can be returned to the sponsor on or
after November 1, 2026 or remain as part of the permanent exhibit for a maximum of one year.

Though the project is scheduled to be completed by early spring 2026, the Warrior Walkway will play a major role in the 250 Year Candlelight 24 Hour Vigil held on (18/19 September 2026). This is a statewide initiative, space is limited. Reservations / applications will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis only.
